Horrible ending
★★★★★
Wasn’t really funny, plot was slow and unbelievable in a that would never happen sense, and the movie tried to be to many genres. RT rating is on crack ....as usual — Dash12xse

A beautiful movie. Beautiful, human and raw. Frances McD and Sam Rockwell are amazing. Sam’s journey is beautiful. This is a must see. Best film of the year by far — schumerfan

Left wing propaganda
★★★★
A lot of things in this movie seem designed to divide an already divided country. Disappointed. — Ricardo L

OK
★★★★★
Unnecessary and excessive profanity from all characters. Great scenes. Fabulous acting. Stupid and reverse-racist stereotypes detracted from the movie, although one person did change, which gave some depth. Great dialogue. The ending was a major letdown. — brslc

Amazing!!!

This movie is definitely in the top ten of the best movies that I have ever seen. Frances McDormand completely nailed her role, and Woody Harrelson was beyond phenomenal. This movie is absolutely worth purchasing! — tha redness

This method of forcing people to buy when most movies you just need to see once is criminal. Let people rent same day. — Cardboard_Bender

A very sad, violent, and dark comedy
★★★★★
In my eyes this movie isn’t about the case of the murder but about how it effected people. The movie greatly tells us how violence and your opinion are not the best things to live by. Held down by stellar performances by the ENTIRE cast who greatly carry the story from start to finish. Another thing that holds it together is its amazing plot and script. However, if you don’t like movies with dark comedy and violent themes. Then don’t miss out on this film too long. It’s definitely worth a watch. 👍 — hucklebaryfinn

It is hard to imagine, how one could possibly combine hard drama with dark humor and get a film that is as emotionally resonant through its narrative and its protagonists (which are the most elaborated and nuanced characters to be featured in recent years). — MRV1293

Just...WOW

Better win Best Picture
★★★★★
This is a beautiful film about how people handle grief. Every performance is praiseworthy and every character has an important role to play. This movie will have you laughing and crying from one scene to the next. This movie should win best picture, and it most definitely will win best original screenplay. — fortunate soul

Deserves The Praise
★★★★★
This is one of those real gems where it has a total indie feel, but never artsy for artsy-sake. The characters are very well defined and not one is an out-and-out innocent hero and the main 3 take turns I didn't see coming. It does not take the easy way at all. It's got the laughs, it's got the big moments, it's got a very satisfying ending that is not tied up with a bow at all. Worth the watch! — midrocker

Great Dark-Comedy

Beware, a dark comedy with violence. Really, really good! — DooDooStick

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
★★★★★
This movie was an absolute delight to watch. It's incredibly well acted and well written and directed. This is a movie that deals with some pretty dark subject matter, including avoiding real crimes to sustain a good public image and so on. It does it with an amazing tone of dark humor, a staple of Martin McDonagh. Frances is heart breaking and amazing at doing her job: acting. Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell aregreat at playing the police officers strugglingagainst Frances' character. Everyone does a great job and you will like this movie greatly. I would say more, but this is a film that you should really see without knowing too much, because it will be the best treat ever. So watch it, the watch it again. — Noah Pfister
