Viewer reviewsGreat Film!
Jordan Peele does a great job letting the comedy of this horror come naturally. — !boomer!
Waste if time and money
The high ratings and rotten tomatoes score is unbelievable. Lost all faith in these ratings. — Mb54327
I'll never trust Rotten Tomatoes for legit reviews again.
Get Out made me want to get out of my chair and shut it off about 20 minutes into this abomination of a film. Get Out portrays white people as racist snobs and black people as ignorant flakes. How they got Catherine Keener to play any role in this mindless drivel is probably the biggest mystery of all. Some of the characters in the movie were utterly pointless, like Caleb Landry Jones as the son. His scenes were overacted and just plain unnecessary. Honestly, I'm still trying to figure out what in the h@$l the point of the movie was. — Theapplefan10
If you've seen the stepford wives, well, you've seen this movie then. — Tkbailey1982
I don't get it
The most over rated movie I've seen in a very long time. I bought it as soon as it was available for purchase and was super excited to sit down and watch it. It was "meh" at best. The story is so over the top and stupid. The main character shows no emotion at any point. One of the dullest main protagonists I've seen in a while. The comedy side kick that I've been hearing is "halarious" was nothing more than annoying. A 13 year old could have wrote his lines. Just a flat out stupid movie. I officially don't trust rotten tomatoes reviews anymore. 98% is insanely high for this movie. If I watched it before looking at the RT score, I would have predicted it to have a 40 something or less. — Ultima1224
It was a good movie — Cuttie1055
Easily the creepiest and most well made horror movie I've seen in a long time. Shocked at how good it was, for once a movie lived up to it's hype!!!! Just...watch... — Feminine Divine
This movie is a good psychological thriller. Don't watch the trailer -- it will just spoil it. I don't understand the negative reviews. It's a unique movie that add something special to the genre. — James9791
No doubt definitely in the top 5 movies of the 2000's 💯%!! Check it out Asap, you won't regret it.👍👍👏👏 — EASNOSGAS259
Don't pay any money to see this...
I don't know where all these five star ratings are coming from, maybe I didn't see the same movie but this movie is just awful. Only watch it if your friend rents it just to see how bad it was. Sorry Peele, we still love you ❤️ — AbsolutA7X
I don't get how it has a 99% fresh rating. — AFbrandt
Must add to my collection
This movie is everything it's definitely a must see — Princess Taisha
In agreement with more of the intelligent reviewers, this cheap thrill is nothing more than a mindless remake of Self/less (2015). Aside from being apalled that it has a 99% Rotten Tomatoes rating, it has a rather ridculous, not so well hidden, suggestion (I'll let you figure that part out: but do so when it is free on Netflix). Don't waste your money. — Newrocmed
I loved it. — Dulcevertigofey
Don't Insult Me
Calling "Get Out" a horror movie insults George Romero, John Carpenter and Wes Craven. Calling "Get Out" a great movie insults any intelligent human being. This is the worst movie of all time. I won't even mention how overtly racist and degrading to white people this travesty of a film is. The critics that applaud this horrid film are the very definition of hype and fake news. This terribly written movie DOES prove one thing, however.. With just the right amount of fake hype, you can make anybody see a crappy movie. — obamathecommie
Can't wait for another one!
Loved it! — Myluvmuffin
Best 2017's thriller
Not a horror movie, but a great thriller! — dnlsur
EXCELLENT, I HAVE PLENTY OF EXPERIENCE IN THIS GENRE

Found myself applauding by the end
I love this movie. It's funny, scary, well acted, perfectly cast and has the most satisfying ending I've seen in a long time. This movie is an instant classic and will stand the test of time. — JackHelean
Are these people for real?!
The cinematography was good, the acting was good, the dialogue was good. It made me laugh, it creeped me out, it made me want to reach through the screen and slap some sense into the main character, and the ending didn't leave me feeling sick, cheated or otherwise disappointed. All in all, that's more than I can say for any M. Night Shamalanabingbong movie. If you want to get some social commentary out of this flick, or feel the need to read into it for some deeper meaning or message, I guess that's your prerogative 😆 but if you just take it as a movie meant to entertain you for a couple hours, I'd say it works. For the record, you should get those "deep messages" out of things you see in day-to-day life or real stories you might read in an article or watch on the news. You really don't have to look far. To those who were offended by this movie and felt the need to write a review just to claim it is racist and/or liberal propaganda: Thank you, your comments were the collective comedic cherry on top! Honestly! Some of these reviews made me laugh harder than the comic relief TSA character. — Bbabb88
Scares some white people
This movie was really deep, a must for your collection! — Superdupe
It took me a little time to decide if I wanted to see this movie. I decided to see it. It is actually good. It started out pretty much simple and all was good but then a twist. I didn't expect it. It was a surprise to me but it was a twist you can almost seeing it happening maybe. Don't listen to the bad reviews. It see what they are saying but this is still a good movie. — double digit
You have to understand how hypnosis works to get a full understanding of the movie — Mike1998.
Super good. Really creepy though. But ending was great. Good always prevails. — Nutcracker/Scruffy
Horrible! — SteveUSAF
Funny and timely
Whining conservatives, fighting reality as usual - you're reviews are so indicative of your ignorance. What a great movie. Intelligent, and successful in multiple genres. Nice job to all who put it together. — Beardedman11
Real life horror
This movie is deeply intellectual and will make your spine shiver. The plot has a twist and hen another, it's really done well. The movie starts slow and builds up until I personally felt terrible anxiety! However the layoff is great. This is definitely a movie I will watch many times over and over again. — Rue_papier
Daniel Kaluuya delivers in this riveting film. This psychological thriller is a fresh take within the horror genre that will most uncomfortable and squirming in their skin as they root for Chris (Kaluuya) as he is ensnared into an unimaginable and unspeakable dilemma. A must watch! — Sugarsrevenge
After all the hype I was excited to finally get to watch this movie. What a let down. Save your time and money and watch something, anything else but this. Honestly, I can't understand how it got such great reviews.:/ — Virocks
Only watched 3/4ths of the movie before an error occured. The movie was excedingly racist. Aside from the racism, it wasnt good at all. Id rather wait in the DMV for 2 hours vs watch this film. Terrible. — Suave666835642
Thanks to the trailer I watched the whole movie already. — Miraa101
Best Movie in a Long Time
I was sitting on the edge of my seat throughout the movie. This movie made me scared and angry at the same time. I cannot say what I really want to say - but slave auction . . . I could just spit and do some dirty work to some people. Back to reality - get a hold of myself, slave auctions no longer exists . . . oh yes they do. Anyway, thank you Jordan for such a scary, wonderfully chilling movie. — vrjoyner
Wonderful movie !!!!
I knew it'll be good but I didn't expect it to be that good. I've already seen it 4 times and will buy it. — Mela_24
I never review anything via iTunes but from all the ones stars that slam the movie for apparently being "racist" need to take a step back open your mind. This movie is essentially a modern day take on slavery with some supernatural brain power stuff happening. Someone said swap the races around and see if we (black folk) call it racist. It wouldn't be able to work like that because from what history teaches us, whites owned blacks, not the other way around. All things aside, the movie was certainly predictable at parts but I was still shocked when things happened. A+ movie. — Rocketships
Peele has done something that is very rare in my life. Surprised the hell out of me with moments in a film. Get Out proves that Peele is a dynamic and stylish director, whos mind deserves serious study by the psychological instituations of the world. Mainly Sweden. — broncodano
Disturbing on many levels.
I was reading one review on here lambasting this as reverse racism. The argument being that if the ethnicities were reversed, there would be outrage. The thing is, reversing the ethnicities would make this totally unbelievable. If white people went missing like this, there would be search parties and rampant media coverage. But a black male going missing? Sadly, our society doesn't seem to care. Disturbing and thought provoking on many levels. — Evilgila
Great storyline and twists through whole movie — Paul be eazy
This is amazing
I've never reviewed movies here. Ever. But I HAD to review this. This is one of the best movies I've ever seen. It made me think and question everything the entire movie. Then the end was still unexpected! It makes you uncomfortable but I think it's positive. I will watch this over and over. This is a movie to buy! — BMayden
People who rated this 1 star have no taste. — J-MikeUSAF
First of for some of you people that kept saying this movie is racist how ? — SpeedRacer$$23
This movie is exactly what Hollywood is missing. Its original, creative and suspenseful; definitely worth a watch. Bravo! — hawk4sho
People who are upset by this movie are the very ones that need to do some deep soul-searching as to why it's triggering for them. Don't go for the low-hanging fruit --truly ask yourself why. This movie perfectly encapsulates the experience of African-American people living in today's America, while offering comic relief to break up the tension...Best movie I've seen in years! — NubianBeauty
I think this was an ok movie to watch, but did not see it as something great. Would give it a B and would not watch it again. — Eric73
Mediocre horror/suspense - at best
If you really hate white people, you will love this movie. If you're anyone else, it's mediocre at best. — Toptekjon
1000% Accurate Social Portrayal
I live in Newport Beach(Pop is 99% blond hair blue eyes; I see the same obvious "i dont see alot of black people" conversations; some white folks just dont get how much they stand out when they say things like in this movie; its more common than it should be; good movie — Nievesjon
Most interesting movie of he year
Awesome, and original. Leave the politics out of it. — Leech4u
Get out of here
