BEST Crime Movie EVER!!!
It doesn't get any better than this! Two of the best actors DeNiro & Pacino, at the top of their game. The entire cast was excellent. Another outstanding Michael Mann movie. Probably his best ever. — ALQ-131

I decided to watch this movie. I thought cool heist movie. No. I was pretty bad. A long drawn out movie. The heist was weak. It really didn't live up the hype I thought it would. I don't recommend this. — double digit

Possibly the best crime thriller since The French Connection
This movie is a must-have. Many films today borrowed the filmmaking style, such as The Dark Knight, and don't do it better. This movie had the best cast of 1995, with every role played by a star or character actor. It's not only immense in its plot symmetries, but has a lot of morals, symbolism and depth. The research put into this film is remarkable, and its probably the very biggest improvement a remake has on an original film. This film has one of the best plots, best casts, and is incredibly dense and re watchable, and keeps you coming back, always to discover more each time you watch. It's debatable as to whether it's better than The French Connection, The Fugitive, or some Hitchcock stuff, but it's definitely the most refined crime thriller I've ever seen, and has very little flaws, if any. — I heart Limburger

One of the best films ever made with top cast. De Niro, Pacino and Kilmer gave great performances. Action, great backstory and supporting cast. — ipadempress

Most underrated movie of all time
This movie is a masterpiece. I'm a big fan of all of Michael Mann's work but this one is his very best. Everything about this movie is outstanding--the acting, the score, the brilliant use of color, the drama and the storytelling. This story reflected a cultural shift in the mid 90s back to the antihero. I tell people that if you weren't rooting for the bad guys in this movie you have no blood in you. I don't want to spoil anything for those who may not have seen it but I will just say that Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Val Kilmer were awesome and this movie made Michael Mann my favorite director. Give this movie a chance...you will not be disappointed. — dogfan4lyfe

Really bad. Not worth the time. — Mov1

A movie that made bank heists of today look like soap opera.
Movies of today copy what this movie brought inthe 90's. Plain Awesome! — Cazadores2009

Couldn’t Watch It
I can’t say what it was, but there was nothing particularly gripping about this movie. Despite it being the kind of film I would normally like, and two great actors, my wife and I both lost interest and stopped watching. — Mr. Lucas Brice

An Epic Crime Thriller
With an all star cast, Heat accurately depicts both sides of the cops and robbers, who will win, who will lose? Multiple story lines in this tale of crime, drama, the thrill of the heist, the thrill of the chase. A must have movie for anyone who enjoys a good crime drama! — DrDragon 4467
