Why can't I rent this movie ?

Why is this movie not available for rent on iTunes ? I do not want to buy it I just want to rent it. — Lonnie Stoner

Why?
★★★★★
Yo I don't even understand why people are giving such bad reviews. Either people just jealous or people probably don't like George Clooney. Whatever haters. This was a good movie. — WAKeysers

starts out well, fizzles and ends absurdly cynically
★★★★
The pieces were there, someone lost the directions and the purpose of the film. are you really going to end the movie with George and Julia doing their George and Julia thing becuase either these two stars can't manage any other kind of interaction or you were star struck andlet them do what they do? I guess so. Jodi, I expected more from ya girl. — No, non - NO

Liked the acting hated the end
★★★★★
Also, it's not as documentary-like as some have said — lindsii

I have a feeling all these negative review ours didn't even see the movie or someone pay them because the movie I saw was entertaining it kept me on the edge of my seat and at the end of the movie it was a little you know predictable but I still was left guessing throughout the movie — Money money money MONEY!!!!

Movie review
★★★★★
I knew from the start as early as the first second rolled in and I also knew that Tristar Pictures being the production company, that this movie is going to be spectacular. First, the acting, specifically the lead acting by George Clooney and Julia Roberts was top notch. Second, the story is an incredible one, one that keeps audiences on the edge of their seat to find out what exactly will happen. Third, the directing was done wonderfully to keep audiences glued to their seat. — Poria 1

Rented for 99 cents...still a waste!!
★★★★
This movie is great if you have the intellect of a 7 year old. Also if you love to see the worst performance of Clooney's career. To say that stock pick news anchors are responsible for people losing money...the idea is so base and irresponsible...seriously the movie should be banned. Be responsible and stop blaming others for your poor decisions! — lovehawaii

LOL Really?
★★★★
The only thing funnier than George Clooney fancying himself a voice of reason standing between the common man and the evils of Wall Street is his lame acting in this high school play. — tclary

Ok
★★★★★
I rented it for 99 cents, so I didn't have high expectations. I think it's worth 99 cents and 99 minutes. ;-) Both the 1-star and 5-star reviews seem a bit exaggerated. It's not a great movie by any means, but not terrible either, at least in comparison with what else is out there now. It is underwhelming when you consider the star power: Clooney, Roberts, Foster; they are capable of better. And it's not a particularly intellectual critique of Wall Street -- if you want that, go for a documentary, or at least Margin Call or something for fiction. It is a decently interesting movie, though, FWIW. — Can't find a non-taken nickname

Not bad!

It was pretty good. It was great to see Julia Roberts and George Clooney together again since Ocean's Eleven. — Chowder2626

I was done when Clooney was dancing with the 2 chicks for the intro to his show... very awkward. — Scottfree67

Clooney at his worst
★★★★
Sorry George. You should have never taken this terrible role. — Txhjcu

Good
★★★★
I really liked the movie. Not sure what the one stars were watching but one star??? Really??? It's a good movie that can relate to how people feel today. In order for most people to get someone to listen to them, they must create a scene or event. The good thing is you end feeling sorry for the guy and like how the movie turned to protect him. — Mgilbo

Not very surprising
★★★★
Good movie it is what you might suspect from the trailer. — Trying it against

Amazing
★★★★★
People like movies that make them feel like they're a part of it, this might have been the best movie I've ever watched phenomenal acting, but not far-fetched it all happens every day it's tragic but to see someone stand up to them and to see someone of a completely different life set help him just makes it that much better if you want a movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat, a movie that Will just leave you in aw this is a must — Pricejosh49

Brilliant work of critism
★★★★★
This film is not an action thriller, nor is it a focused commentary on financial institutions. It's a masterful 2 hour critsism of american televsion and its audience. The film layers action genre clichés to engage a basic level of cinematic understanding and it's audience. Married to overly long shots of fumbled action like dialogue with an unknown actress playing the token girlfriend of a billionare at the heart of contention, made in reference to the typical woman as MacGuffin thread of cinematiccliché. This film depicts the perfect lack of critism in American culture embodied within the ony two actors that could have been cast in order to get the point across. A highly recommended watch... if you presumed it was an action, suspence drama, you're either the target of critsism or you just didn't get it. — IGNOIR

So bad.

Saw this in theaters. Regret it every day of my life. No but seriously I wouldn't have been happy seeing this movie for free, anywhere. — Sharks6

Save yourself a ridiculous ride. Could have been cool. But I'm let down again by this generation of actors and directors. — chelsey & rich

Shouting at the screen...
★★★★
...because this movie was absolutely that terrible. With a director and cast like this, you'd expect a certain standard. Nope. The very idea behind this movie is absurd, the dialogue ridiculous, the acting cringe-worthy. I literally want my 5 dollars back. — AFG215

A waste of time
★★★★★
I really thought George Clooney and Julia Roberts were awful in this movie. It was simply bad acting which was disappointing because normally they are both good actors. The plot was totally farfetched, and lame. I blame Jodie Foster for poor directing. I'm glad I did not buy this movie. Watching it was simply a waste of time. — Meggie Gray Andersen

Not a Monster hit but was still worth the money
★★★★
Though if you have a weak soul you may get easily frustrated by the dialogue. This was one of those too wild to be true but was in fact true stories. Money Monster was worth every penny. — 16 HORSES

Bravo Jody Foster
★★★★★
Jody Foster, director of stories less traveled, and hits it out of the park again. Julia Roberts rocks this role, banter & character were awesome, spot on! Casting across the board is steller. Films these days can be rather mind numbing with wanton violen, distruction and social engineering. Jody Foster is old school, one of the few directors to remain true to her craft and story telling. I'll always see a Jody Foster film, she never disappoints. — bruno90068

I really enjoyed this movie. It was intence, and it had a very strong meaning. — Larry R. Lucas

★★★★★
The plot is not too original but the acting was great. Genuine. I saw all the bad reviews but decided to watch it anyway and do not regret it. — Ipad user2011

Nonsense
★★★★
The movie has an IQ of 75. The cliches are obtuse: The rich are evil, wall street is corrupt, the poor are being exploited, and the game is rigged. REALLY??? What else can you expect in an election year but propaganda. The parody play on Jim Cramer of Mad Money was ill informed and insulting. Don't' waste your time or money!!! — Shaned10000

Propaganda piece
★★★★
This movie is basically a propaganda piece. We're supposed to feel sorry for the 1%, all as portrayed by the man that hosts $300k/person dinners for $hillary Clinton. Trash. — johnnyluvszooey

The worst...
★★★★
I am sorry to say that even though it has great actors the direction they got on how to act is the worst I have seen in this kind of movies, I have seen John Q, Phonebooth, Buried etc and they are 1000% better than this. — BerGD

Starts off really GREAT

The movie starts off great for the 2/3 of the movie and then the very last 1/3 of it, it just ends terribly. I don’t know what I was hoping for but definitely not that ending. — YouLUVmeh Longtime

Confused
★★★★★
As I read the other reviews, it reminds me that people are truly ignorant. They forget that movies are for entertainment, I believe they think it's real life. Totally clueless baboons. Not the greatest movie I've ever seen, but it was very entertaining. It's defiantly worth watching. — FlixMaker64

Worst movie I've seen in years
★★★★
How could stars like Roberts and Clooney ever accept being part of a such s****y movie. The plot is totally absurd, full of clichés and unreal situations. Total garbage!!! — Guilherme Freeland

Occupy Wall Street Propaganda
★★★★
The film has a terrible, and painfully obvious plot. Rich people control the, or influence the government and economy, and rig the system in their favor, at the expense of the little guy. Everything about the plot is illogical and proven false, in the real world. So right off the bat the audience has to throw out logic, if they want to enjoy the film. The film is nothing but socialist propaganda. Of course, it might not have been if the Hollywood studios weren't so hot for the Chinese market. The Chinese government, and it's ridiculous standards has a clear affect on our US film studios. In effect, we have become the foreign market, while the true domestic market has become China. Or, more accurate the Chinese Communist Party. Since they are the ones who have to be pleased, and catered to for a film to even be released in China. That, combined with the lack of standards in Hollywood, has resulted in terrible films, such as Money Monster. Not only does Hollywood need a resurrection, and updating of the Hays Code, but serious economic sanctions should be considered to deal with the Chinese Communist Party. Don't help them destroy us through our, own, media. Skip this film, and boycott others being released that will also see a release in China, on the silver screen; and, demand an updated version of the Hays Code, that all studios agree on and will comply with. Do not settle for this propaganda filth. Save your money for a film that's actually worth it. — Kondeki

Don't spend a dime to see this. Pure garbage — Spaceman 2012

Meh
★★★★★
2 stars - Not like the worst thing you'll see this year, but if you're debating about watching it, the answer is easy - skip it. It's not one of those mostly believable movies where you just have to let a thing or two go. It's one of those movies that you have to let thing after thing after thing go. You would have thought it'd be easy to make a movie villanizing wall street.... Oh well. Better luck next time Jodie. — Altas Cried

Great movie

This was a great movie in a documentary style. — BradDLi21

Zero Stars
★★★★
George Clooney is unwatchable. His acting is sub par and his posturing is an assault on the viewers senses. Terrible movie. Boring. Zero. — nitemel

Broken beyond repair
★★★★★
This movie employs every cliché in the book, then adds some of its own for good measure. The dialogue is uncomfortable bordering on painful, and the plot is silly in its own right. The worst thing that happened in this movie (spoiler alert) is that George Clooney wasn't blown to pieces at the beginning; his acting was so bad I was hoping to see him vanish in a giant fireball. Still worth watching if you're curious to see how bad a movie can get. — Charles Litwin
